DESCRIPTION
Flux project Flux2 and kustomize-controller could allow a remote authenticated attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by improper path handling in Kustomization files. An attacker could use a specially-crafted kustomization.yaml file containing “dot dot” sequences (/../) to obtain sensitive data from the controller’s pod filesystem or gain elevated privileges in multi-tenancy deployments.
