Insyde InsydeH2O could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition. By conducting DMA attacks on the NvmExpressDxe buffer used by SMM and non-SMM code, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges.
