NXP i.MX 8M family processors could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a flaw in U-Boot Secondary Program Loader (SPL). By using a crafted Flattened Image Tree (FIT) format structure, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to escalate privileges.
