FreeBSD could allow a local authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper capability rights check in the copy_file_range function. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to read data from or write data to an arbitrary location within the file corresponding to that file descriptor.
