Max Secure Anti Virus Plus could allow a local authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper access control by the library MaxCryptMon.sys of the IoControlCode Handler component. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to copy arbitrary files.
