NearForm fast-jwt could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by not properly prevent JWT algorithm confusion for all public key types. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to sign arbitrary payloads which will be accepted by the verifier.
